Tilly - Earth and Seed Nutrition
Meet Tilly, a passionate nutritionist dedicated to supporting women’s health, from preconception to motherhood.
Coming from a lineage of strong women who understood the profound connection between nourishing food and overall health, Tilly carries this wisdom into her practice.
During her studies, she developed a deep passion for women’s hormone health and menstrual cycle support, embracing the power of nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and a connection to nature. She was especially inspired by the intricate roles of hormones throughout the menstrual cycle and how food can be used as medicine to promote balance and vitality.
Through her work, Tilly aims to empower women to understand their cycles, embrace the beauty of their bodies, and see food as a tool for nourishment and connection rather than something to restrict or control. Her holistic approach helps women feel supported, aligned, and deeply connected to themselves and the environment around them.
Tanya -Live Well
Tanya is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Registered Acupuncturist with 20 years experience.
Tanya graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from Griffith University before completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) at RMIT in Victoria.
Whilst enjoying the seven months of her internship in Nanjing China in 2002, she developed an interest in using acupuncture and herbs for woman’s health. After some further studies in China in 2012 she focused on honing her skills to help in cases of unexplained infertility as well as using acupuncture for IVF assistance.
Three kids later and now in her mid forties her interests have slightly steered towards helping women navigate menopause and perimenopause.
Tanya also enjoys helping people in pain, whether it be back pain, joint pain or headaches.
Also joining us for this amazing workshop is Joey from Making Mama!
Making Mama, a space to celebrate, honour and care for mamas, mamas-to-be, mamas of angels, motherly figures, birthing women, mamas of many and new mamas.
With a deep desire to encourage mamas to look after their mind, body and soul, Making Mama began as a safe, judgement-free space showcasing the ethical and sustainable wares of Australian pregnancy, birth and postpartum products, made with love. Owned and operated by fellow mama, physiotherapist and woman of colour Joey Van, Making Mama became about so much more than self care for our mamas.
It is Making Mama’s mission to make purchasing safe, eco-friendly, well-researched products for the mother easy - whether it’s treating yourself to a self-care item, or taking care of the mama you love with high-quality wares. Making Mama’s dedication to sustainable, recyclable, ethically-made products from Australian small businesses is a loyalty to female communities - and that is a commitment we are never willing to shake.
